His Excellency the Minister of Labor and Social Development, Mr. Jamil bin Mohammed Ali Humaidan, met General Manager of Al-Kooheji Contracting Company Mr. Abdul Ghaffar Abdul Rahim Al-Kooheji, to recieve financial support to the Social Work Fund.
During the meeting, the Minister of Labor and Social Development commended the initiative, which comes within the framework of the principle of community partnership adopted by the Ministry in cooperation with the private sector, pointing at the vital role of private sector companies in supporting development projects, and informed him about the methodology of providing financial grants .
Mr. Abdul Ghaffar Al-Kooheji expressed the hope that this support will contribute to covering part of the expenditures of the programs implemented by the Fund. He also noted the great efforts exerted by the Ministry of Labor and Social Development to support the programs and projects of NGOs and their activities to achieve common development goals and increase their efficiency. The Foundation is keen to encourage all initiatives and social development projects launched by the Ministry.
